The Suck Valley Way Visitor Centre

The Suck Valley Way Visitor Centre is in the village Athleague, which is situated on the Castlecoote to Ballygar section of the trail. It is housed in a building which was originally a Church of Ireland  church, which dates from the early 19th century. The Centre provides Information  on local attractions such as: walking the 105 km Suck Valley Way Trail, cycling the 217 km Green Heartlands Cycle Route, or Coarse, Trout and Pike angling in quiet, virtually undiscovered rivers and lakes (some of which are wheelchair accessible).  

The Visitors Centre also provides an excellent Meeting and Conference facility on the 1st floor. It can accommodate up to 45 people. Please  contact  the centre for further details
